Mother nature luminous universe The fragile sophisticated modernness Remain of mankind’s pride My vast mother grassland I was told our great ancestors were here for thousand years Wandering soul of ancient nomads telling stories of the king of this land Hawks are soaring high Without fully grown wings How to fly in this colorful world Mongols who mirgrate along with beautiful nature We share our weal and woe with the land Holy nature will lead us penetrate the samsara Brothers of blood Our heart were generous and pure We’re supposed to light the precious heart Convey the deep reverence to the world

about

“The Memory of Nomadism” is the second album by folk metal band SULD.
The basic theme of this album based on environmental protection and historical thesis. On the cover as you can see, the horses without the eyes were still running, but were disorientated by the blinded eyes. In fact, it’s a metaphorical way to explain the serious issues causing by environmental pollution, ecological damage and the vanish of nomadic culture.
In my childhood memories, the vast mother land was full of beautiful creatures, blue sky, white clouds, green grass, rain patches, the wild mushrooms all the places, the marmots hidden in the grass and the wild duck eggs everywhere can accidentally stepped on. Theses are all god made creatures, it’s the beauty of the universe.
As we grew up, changes have also taken place in the surroundings, the grassland has begun to urbanized. Everything used to see in my childhood is rare to find, as the environmental changed the nomadic lifestyle is disappearing as well…
The greedy unbridled human desire destructed everything…
